NC FATS Ride at Lake Crabtree - May 2005

I had a nice ride last week out at Lake Crabtree Park with the NC FATS mountain bike club. The lake trail we had been working on for the past few months was open and it was great to ride the new trail. It has some great sections where you are surrounded by dense vegetation and them pop out into a section with a clear view of the lake. Steve Kaufman was out with his camera taking pictures. They can be seen here. Here is a picture he got of me going over a root at the bottom of one of the switchbacks. I always thought I looked a bit silly while riding but it was nice to finally have proof.
